This module upgrades an existing emWave® Pro installation into emWave® Pro Plus. If you don't yet own emWave Pro and want both the coherence training and the HRV assessment tools, choose the full emWave® Pro Plus package instead — it includes everything from the start.
Because installing this module requires an existing emWave Pro license, the specifications below cover only what the Plus module adds.

HRV Assessment Features
emWave Pro Plus adds two standardized HRV assessments on top of your existing emWave Pro software.
General
- Pulse capture via infrared photoplethysmography
- Automatic pulse detection and calibration
- Automatic or manual editing of ectopic beats and artifacts before results are calculated
- Every session is saved per client/patient profile, so results can be compared over time
Standardized HRV Assessment
A resting-state analysis of the standard heart rate variability measures, recorded over a session with no breathing guidance, lasting anywhere from 2 to 99 programmable minutes.
Measures obtained — time domain:
- Mean heart rate
- Mean inter-beat interval (ms)
- Mean heart rate variability amplitude
- SDNN (autonomic nervous system marker)
- RMSSD (parasympathetic nervous system marker)
Measures obtained — frequency domain:
- Total power
- VLF, LF, HF
- LF/HF ratio
- Normalized coherence ratio
Guided Breathing Assessment
A short, one-minute assessment performed under controlled conditions, with results compared against the subject's age group. Over the course of the minute, a breathing pacer guides the autonomic nervous system to reveal the extent of vagal (parasympathetic) regulation of HRV. Results are compared to age-related norms and delivered as a PDF report that can be archived or printed.
